Early life[ edit ] Hamilton was born in Liverpool , England and was orphaned when he was two weeks old. His adoptive mother was an English nurse. When he was three years old, his father retired to South Australia where Hamilton grew up on a acre sheep farm. After leaving school, he began a career as a professional dancer with The Australian Ballet Company where he toured Europe and the Soviet Union for two years. Hamilton stopped dancing at the age of 21 and decided to pursue a career as a model. Hamilton later said, "Dancing was too confining and regimented for me.
R8, Vivien Leigh would have been today. I always confuse those two and now I'm more confused than ever! It was towards the end of a long, long day; he was tired and the show, Cover Up, wasn't great. And I think there was friction between him and 'movie star' Jennifer O'Neill. Plus, I used to think blanks were perfectly harmless. Maybe he did too? Or maybe a prop master should have been holding the guy until it was time for it to be fired?
Someone missed out on the hairy 80s beefcake era. I think I was in grade 8 Ha! Take that old man! Gil Gerrard, Lee Majors and Jon, to mention my faves. He had one season on a time travelling sci fi show called Voyagers!
R78, I know; he did seem humble and sweet. I work in LA as an entertainment journalist. I've run into character actors over the years who did guest spots on Voyagers and I'd ask them about JEH, mostly off the record. None of them ever had a bad word to say. It went beyond the standard 'don't speak ill of the dead.
